Your Next Fifty Years
Published in Paperback by Owlet (September, 1997)
Average review score:

I liked this bookIf you liked or found this book useful, you might also like "The Healing Journey Through Retirement" by Phil Rich and Dorothy Sampson. It's a book about the transition from work to retirement, and talks about how to make retirement a meaningful and satisying experience. The book provides lots of good ideas and information and uses a journal writing format.
A useful thought-provokerThis book is well-organized, thought-provoking, with helpful exercises to get you thinking about how you'll spend not only the next 50 years, but your next year or two. I found it very useful in terms of evaluating my own choices and plans, AND it has helped me broach similar issues with my mother who is moving into retirement. I highly recommend this book to anyone over thirty. Start thinking about this stuff now!

101 Reasons Why I Watch the Weather Channel
Published in Paperback by Gitana Press (15 November, 2000)
Average review score:

Tune in TODAY-to this little book & the Weather ChannelI have known people, highly intelligent individuals, who keep the Weather Channel on in the background throughout their active day. They know something and Kathleen Rooney knows more about this gem on national TV. Read this book, give it as a gift to friends and acquaintances. It is a fun piece of work in a world that badly needs to get back to basics. I assure you, with Ms. Rooney's insights and humor, you will come to appreciate the different personalities and insights of those famed meteorologists.

3-D Book of Angels: A Collection
Published in Hardcover by Distributors (June, 1995)
Average review score:

Artful and creative collection of Angels in 3-DAn engaging use of 3-D stereogram art. I enjoyed the artistic unfolding of the two-dimensional scenes into the hidden view of 3-D Angels. I was surprised by the almost photographic quality of the angels, complete with faces.

The 60-Second Christian
Published in Hardcover by Word Publishing (September, 1984)
Average review score:

Small book that will make you thinkI wasn't sure about this book when I started reading it. With the title of The 60-Second Christian, I wondered if it would it be like fast food, without much substance? I was pleasantly surprised. Although the book is thin & very easy to read, it proves to be very thought provoking. What does being a Christian boil down to? Have we made it too complicated and maybe gotten a little off-track from Jesus' teachings? This book offers some insightful, reflective basics that maybe we need to get back to.

ACCESS Santa Fe, Taos & Albuquerque
Published in Paperback by Access Pr (March, 1999)
Average review score:

ACCESS Guides are the BEST!I always find the ACCESS Guides to be the best travel guides overall, and look for them whenever I am about to travel to a new location. So far, I have used their guides to Alb/SantaFe/Taos, Seattle, Montreal/Quebec City, Phoenix, San Francisco, Hawaii, San Diego, and London.
I like their format - they are organized by neighborhoods, so you don't have to seach around through the book all day; and they have an empasis on restaurants and shopping, which I find the other guides don't give enough info on and which are my FAVORITE activities when travelling. Also their print is large, clear, and color coded, which also makes it easy to find what you want (restaurants in one color, shopping in another, tourist sites in another).
It's the best guide to carry around each day while travelling.

Aircraft of World War II (The Collins/Jane's Gems)
Published in Paperback by HarperCollins (paper) (September, 1995)
Average review score:

Nice pocket sized book with lots of informationI picked this book up because I don't have any reference book on WW2 A/C. It has nice B/W photos and enough information to answer most questions you may have. It also has stats of course. It's a graet book to go along with the recent boom of WW2 plane simulations. At it's small price, everyone should own one. It has 255 pages.
